Who We Are

The Birthing Room is a nonprofit based in rural Alabama with a heart for serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness, crisis, or generational cycles of poverty.

We exist to provide emergency relief, safe transitional shelter, life-changing mentorship, workforce pathways, and spiritual and practical tools to help people birth new beginnings no matter their past.

Safe Haven Program (Coming Soon): Emergency & transitional shelter for families

Workforce Bridge: CDL training, job placement, rural workforce transportation

Soul Maintenance: Faith-based healing, life coaching, mental health check-ins

Youth Seeds: Free summer camps, mentorship, youth empowerment

Community Outreach: Street teams & mobile support for hidden rural needs
